SAIH System: how Spain monitors its rivers in real time

The SAIH (Sistema Automatico de Informacion Hidrologica) is the telemetry network that Spain's Hydrographic Confederations operate to monitor rainfall, river levels, flow rates, and reservoir status around the clock. Thousands of sensors send data every few minutes, feeding the country's flood-warning and water-management systems.
